Continue further along the same trail which takes you to the Lincoln Journal Tower and within a mile you will come to Stone Creek Waterfall, one of Platte River State Park's most photographed features, and a great spot to rest up and enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest.

3. Platte River Trail
Serious hikers may want to take on the full length of the Platte River Trail, which winds its through the forest and alongside creeks and streams for almost eight miles. The eastern section of the trail is fairly easy, but the western section is much steeper and can be muddy underfoot, so come prepared.
