2. Lakeshore Trail
This lake-looping trail begins at the Visitor Center. Beautiful views over the water and sightings of local wildlife reward hikers on this must-hike trail. Stop off on the way to dip your toes in the cooling water or enjoy a picnic at one of the strategically placed rest stops. Play a little disc golf as you go. The course runs adjacent to the trail.

3. Outer Loop Trail
This well-marked trail also skirts the lake but takes hikers further into the park to explore less busy reaches of wilderness. Whispering forests are the only interruption to the tranquility.
