How to reach the campus
You have the option of flying in at O’Hare International Airport or Midway International Airport. There are several modes of public transportation to get to the campus such as the airport shuttle, PACE bus route 250, CTA trains or taxi, Uber or Lyft. It is approximately an hour’s travel to Evanston from O’Hare while Midway is slightly longer.
The city of Evanston is just 12 miles north of downtown Chicago, you have a lot of choices when it comes to sightseeing. Visit the Baha’I House of Worship or stroll at the lakefront Gillson Park. You can also head to Chicago and visit famous attractions such as WillisTower, John Hancock Center, Shedd Aquarium and the Navy Pier.
Evanston offers good shopping opportunities. It was once the home of popular chains of the department stores Marshall Field’s (now Macy’s) and Sears. Central Street links several shopping districts offering a host of specialty stores. Main Street has roughly three blocks of independent stores and restaurants while Dempster Street boasts of small and hip shops.
