John Waples Memorial Playground
Children clamber, crawl, slide, and swing at this fantastic playground. There's even an informal lending library, where you can pick up a bedtime story. There's a latch on the gate for tiny ones so you won't need to worry.
Sunset Park
A memorial gazebo in the corner of this pretty park commemorates donors and their families. Kids will love watching the horseshoe crabs sidle along the sand while the sun sets over the bay.
Cape Henlopen State Park
Thousands make the pilgrimage to Cape Henlopen's beaches and wild areas. In the summer, you can enjoy swimming in the bathing area, golding on the green or playing a game on the basketball court. Come for the Kite Festival, a riot of color, or the Halloween Fantasy Trail, which is imaginative to say the least!
Biggs Museum of American Art
