You can fly in through the Columbia regional airport that is approximately 15 minutes south of the university. Como Connect is the city’s public transport service with the buses all in Columbia City. Tiger Line Shuttles offer free rides for students to the university.
Scheduling of campus visits is done on an individual basis and in groups of 10 from Monday through Friday. The Mizzou Tour Team are solely responsible for taking visitors around the University. You will be able to visit the quad, where the six columns stand and get an enriched history behind their existence. The Jesse Auditorium also hosts over 200 events annually on campus such as "Legally Blonder" and "Noel the Musical." During your tour, you can join in students doing yoga and stretches on the green grass outside the school buildings.
There’s plenty to experience in Missouri from summer all the way to spring. You will find a lot of street events during the warm months on almost all weekends. The Ozark Empire Fair is one of the popular annual events which boasts the state's biggest carnival. It runs from the last few weeks of August to early September. St. Louis Art Fair, on the other hand, takes place every September.
