Cape San Blas is the southernmost part of a peninsula west of Tallahassee, Florida. On one side of the cape is St. Joseph's Bay and on the other side is the Gulf of Mexico. This area of Florida is known as the Panhandle’s Emerald Coast and it is famous for its beaches of white sand and clear blue water. Although the region receives many visitors, in the low seasons Cape San Blas beaches are uncrowded and perfect for relaxing. The town's activities also cater to families year-round.
There are many places to visit on the peninsula, like the iconic Cape San Blas Lighthouse, which you can climb for great views, and the St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, a great place to see birds and sea life, including watching sea turtles up close while snorkeling. Fishing, kayaking and scalloping are also popular in the area.
