SilverStar, which gets an annual snowfall of 23ft, offers over 130 marked trails and a vertical drop of 2,500ft. Skiers with intermediate skills will love the resort's blue and black runs. The slopes are great for beginners, too. With over 105km of groomed trails and close proximity to Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre, SilverStar is excellent for cross-country skiing. Putnam Creek, one of the nearby mountain faces, has steep terrains ideal for experienced skiers.
