The Forum has become a landmark in Los Angeles due to legendary music performances by renowned, international performers. The venue’s history is littered with iconic concerts by a diverse range of artists, which have drawn excited music fans from all over the world. Its proximity to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and the many hotels near The Forum make it a convenient venue to visit for artists and concertgoers alike.
The legendary blues band played two shows during their 1968 tour. On the 18 October performance, the band Deep Purple performed as the opening act and recorded a live album of their performance, entitled “Inglewood-Live in California”.
The notorious rockers performed at the forum during North American tours in 1969, 1972, and 1975. The 1975 concert recorded a large turn out of about 18,000 people, the first time a concert at the Forum had drawn such a large crowd.
With over 16 performances at The Forum, Led Zeppelin has entertained numerous fans with their unique and innovative take on rock music. Part of their album, "How the West Was Won", was recorded here. In June 1993 the band recorded their album "For Badgeholders Only" at The Forum during the end of their North American tour.

Alcohol is sold at the venue but only to those aged above 40, and only two drinks per person can be bought on each transaction.
The Forum management recommends arriving one hour earlier than the scheduled time of the show, in order to go through a mandatory security check and bag inspection before entering the venue.
