Save the bees - save the earth
Interhome
Our Interhome team partnered with BEESark to help plant 100,000m2 of native wildflowers, preserving wild habitats to ensure bees have ample space to pollinate and call their home. Not only does the planting of wildflowers and the protection of Carinthian meadows ensure that bees have longstanding homes, but they also help protect the biodiversity of other insects and birds, improve soil quality and fertility, enhance air quality, and store CO2 in the earth. A group of Interhome volunteers partnered with BEESark to provide hands-on help digging and planting over several days. The 100,000m2 of planted meadows has already saved innumerable bees, sequestered or helped to store 400,000 kg of CO2, and produced roughly 146,000 kg of oxygen.
